This happened on a cold morning in the outskirts of Bangalore in Dec 2013. I and my friend decided to head to Nandi hills. I still remember we took a lot of brief stops on our way to this famous place as the mist was still hovering over the city.
So, as soon as we stopped on the top of the hills, we decided to get out of our car to see if we can get something to shoot as the first rays of the sun was penetrating through the dense canopy and falling on the Bonnet Macaque.
I rushed to grab my camera which was already armed with my 300mm F4 lens. I was able to quickly make few images before the macaque moved out of the right place.
Thank you for stopping by. Let me know what you think about this image?

Brilliant capture. Easily one of your best I have seen. Calling it Rim Light is apt and its beautifully captured.
